Our New Year's 2012 Celebration

Happy New Year everyone, hope that you are all safe after the celebration last midnight. Here on our place in Brgy. Rizal, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija I haven't heard any victims of casualties cause by firecrackers and fireworks. What a good year to start with, we really enjoyed all the fireworks displays here, there and everywhere. Because everyone had used their fireworks, can you imagine us looking at every directions fascinated with it.

Actually we never used any fireworks that night but just joined our neighbors who traditionally doing it every year, they said that it was in their budget already and it wont be complete if they haven't had fireworks that costs Php 5,000.00 or $120 to burn that last for almost an hour.

  3. We don't do fireworks either, we just watch and there's more than enough bang and color to survive the new year. Here's wishing for a fruitful year ahead! Happy New Year. ;) The kids looked like they had lots of fun. ;)

  5. sad to say we stay indoors every New Year, all of my family members are asthmatic, we celebrate it also with a loud bang with all televisions on, radios and boom boxes at full volume, we only can see fireworks through watching in the TVs.

  12. Happy New year! Hindi ako nagpaputok pero I miss it a lot! I have been spending my new year in Boracay for 4 years na eh.

Nonetheless, seems like you had tons of fun, as long as you're with family.

  14. Fireworks are a big no no for me...when we were back in Manila my ninang and her family would always invite us (they live just across the street) to light fireworks. i stayed indoors with ninong and sometimes my kinakapatid(they're also asthmatic like me) and we'd just wait for them to get done (while the rest would go in and out of the house to check on something that's still cooking or get more lights).
