Do you need a credit card but afraid to
get drowned with debt? Well, we have the same sentiment but I really need one for
my transactions online, and the only requirement is the use of credit card.
Mishandling of credit card can be devastation.
I know, because I already experienced it and some of my friends too, and the
friends of my friends. Credit
card can play as fool giving us an easy access to have money we don’t own
and let us use it for things we want and not the things that we need.
BPI My ePrepaid MasterCard is the answer to this entire dilemma it serves as a credit card in online or any establishments but first you need to fund it or load it up before you can make transaction with this.
You can fund your card in any branch by depositing cash or the most convenient way of transferring fund from ATM machine or through online banking.
How to get your My ePrepaid MasterCard:
You can apply online in their Facebook App of their Fan page, its easy to apply and anyone can get their card even students (guaranteed approval to anyone), payment of Php 500 that is good for 2 years and Php 600 for those in the province area.
How and Where to Use:
Use your My ePrepaid MasterCard worldwide and especially online, wherever MasterCard is accepted.
When shopping online use it like how you use a credit card for online payments:
1. Select MasterCard Credit Card as mode of payment
2. Input the following card details:
- 16 digit Card number
- CVC2/ Card Verification Code 2 (last digit number at the back of the card)
- Card Validity date
- Then confirmed the transaction
- Present your My ePrepaid card Mastercard to the cashier
- Sign the sales slip.
I successfully use it by the following:
1. Go Daddy (buying a domain for this blog www.theraketermama.com where I only get the discount code that is available only for credit card
2. Membership fee for Bro. Bo’s Truly Rich Club.
And I assume more future expenses but not worrying my monthly payment for this credit card.
Hi! Thanks for sharing. I wonder if this can be linked to Paypal? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteyes you can verify your paypal using this but if you plan to withdraw or transfer your money in my eprepaid it is not allowed, you can only put money but cannot withdraw the money but you can use this card to shop
Deletewow if you use this to verify the paypal account meaning the card is linked to it .. why cant the transfer allowed?
DeleteI mean the use of card is for credit card only and not as an atm or savings account
DeleteFor example if you use this card and link in your paypal, then you withdraw from paypal to this card you can only use it as a mastercard credit card swiping or buying online only but cannot withdraw cash from this card
Anyone tried to use this card with those items with monthly payments like electronics? I mean, for example, a TV with a 0% interest promotion when using a credit card and paying it for 12 months. Is it possible to use this card? How? Do we need to reload the card before the billing cycle?
DeleteI tried before but they don't accept it they know its a prepaid and doesn't have funds
Deletei do not own a credit card, too. i fear that i may overuse the card and that i may end up with huge debts for those unnecessary and impulsive purchases.
ReplyDeletehowever, i am interested to know more about this e-credit card from BPI. thanks for the info.
its actually great I tried it in godaddy and bought this domain for $1.17 only I use godaddy codes
Deleteit's good to know that they are now offering something like this, i guess i still prefer eon from unionbank :)
ReplyDeleteCan you use this for installment purchases lime gadgets in stores like abenson?
ReplyDeletei use the card on go daddy and it says credit card number is not allowed
ReplyDeleteMake sure that you have sufficient fund before you buy anything online or else it will really not go through.. hope this helps :)
DeleteHello, I have a question. I just got my eprepaid card today, and at the same day deposited some money in it. I tried linking it to Paypal but it will not work. Why is this so? Thank you for your time...
ReplyDeleteDepositing money via bank takes 24 hours before the money gets posted to your ePrepaid while fund transfer done online is real time. so best to apply it on your Paypal the following day if deposit is via bank :)
DeleteGood day, I have a question regarding this card, will you be given a sort of statement of account which tell you where you spent the money for a month. So that we can at least know how much we spent and for what. thanks!
ReplyDeleteI think you can check it with online banking
Deletehi gud day to u.. is the eprepaid mastercard is good for plan like sun globe or smart?

Deletehi how can i link my eprepaid to my account do i stil need to go to the bank? tnx
ReplyDeletehi I get this card from bpi branch, I immediately connect it through their help
DeleteYou said that I can transfer Paypal funds to my bpi eprepaid mastercard right? Provided that I cannot withdraw it. So it is like reloading my eprepaid mastercard? How much will Paypal or BPI charge me if I transfer funds?
ReplyDeleteYou said that I can transfer my Paypal Funds to BPI eprepaid Master Card provided that I cannot withdraw it, right? So it's like one way of reloading my master card so I can use it the way it is supposed to be used ( a credit card which I can only use when I have sufficient funds). Will Paypal or BPI charge me an amount if I do the transferring of funds? Thanks!
ReplyDeletei think the paypal only will charge you for withdrawal
Deletehi can i transfer cash from my easy saver saving card to myeprepaid card?
ReplyDeleteyes but I thik you should apply online banking first
DeleteHello, i just wanna ask if this is like CC that if you applied there's already a credit limit. Like available funds to use for grocery.? Em just a bit confuse.
ReplyDeleteno this is only a wallet, if you want to use this to purchase online you need to fund it
DeleteHi, I just signed up online to get this eprepaid providing that I didn't know I couldn't withdraw from this. ( I did a poor research btw ) Uhmm can i just send money to another atm card if that so to be able to withdraw ?
ReplyDeleteI don't think so, the use of this card is for purchase only, it can receive money but you cant send money back to your savings
Deletehi i have a question.. what if the gadget that i will buy is i want in installment basis... how is this process? i will load my eprepaid monthly? or it cant be used in installment basis?
ReplyDeleteit wont work that way, usually credit card pay it in advance for us, then we will pay the monthly amortization direct to the bank,

ReplyDeleteWat d use of eprepaid mastercard if we cant use it like credit card?
ReplyDeleteMy e-prepaid FUNCTIONS LIKE A CREDIT CARD. When you make online purchases, they ask you for the credit card number and security number. My eprepaid has those, as well. The only difference is, unlike credit cards, you won't be billed monthly when you use my eprepaid because it is PRE-LOADED (hence, 'prepaid). For your transaction to succeed, you must make sure that you have loaded your card
Delete^ Then the amount of your purchased product will be deducted from the load you deposited in your my eprepaid card.
Deletewell online store accepts only credit card, eprepaid can be a substitute for credit card without the hassle of monthly payment, of course you need to fund it first
ReplyDeleteHi..i would like to ask if i can use this ePrepaid card in malls, restaurant, and groceries too? like swiping it,,,,?one more thing.. Do I need to maintain a certain amount? While I'm not using this card? Thanks :
ReplyDeleteHi... Can I ask about this ePrepaid card if I can use it in malls, restaurants, groceries and etc in paying my stuffs? And one more thing,,do I need to maintain a certain amount while I'm not using it?..to keep activated...Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it can be used at any establishment AS LONG AS IT ACCEPTS MasterCard. And no maintaining amount required; it's your call when to load it. Its validity lasts up to 2 years.
DeleteHi I want to ask if I can link my eprepaid mastercard to my savings account so that I will not be busy loading the card every time. Since my payroll savings account is always kept with money I want to use eprepaid mastercard to be charged directly to the savings account. Because I don't wan't to load a big amount to the card and unable to withdraw in case that I fail the online transaction or I give up to shop online. I have doubt if I can do it as I stated because I understand we can't withdraw money once it is loaded.
ReplyDeletehi can i ask about verifying paypal to my eprepaid card? paypal sent a 4 digit code in my statement of account and it says that i need to enter the code to paypal to get verified how will i know this 4 digit code if i dont have savings account in bpi to view my statement of account?
ReplyDeleteyes it can
DeleteIt's really appreciable message for everybody thanks for sharing this information. Perfect ATM card
ReplyDeletehi
ReplyDeleteYes, you can as long as they accept mastercard. There's no maintaining balance here yet it should be in dormant state to avoid some penalties and worst is automatic closure of card.
