BPI My ePrepaid MasterCard Review

bpi-myeprepaid-mastercard

Do you need a credit card but afraid to get drowned with debt? Well, we have the same sentiment but I really need one for my transactions online, and the only requirement is the use of credit card.

Mishandling of credit card can be devastation. I know, because I already experienced it and some of my friends too, and the friends of my friends. Credit card can play as fool giving us an easy access to have money we don’t own and let us use it for things we want and not the things that we need.

BPI My ePrepaid MasterCard is the answer to this entire dilemma it serves as a credit card in online or any establishments but first you need to fund it or load it up before you can make transaction with this.

You can fund your card in any branch by depositing cash or the most convenient way of transferring fund from ATM machine or through online banking.

How to get your My ePrepaid
MasterCard:

You can apply online in their Facebook App
of their Fan page, its easy to apply and anyone can get their card even students (guaranteed approval to anyone), payment of Php 500 that is good for 2 years and Php 600 for those in the province area.

How and Where to Use:

Use your My ePrepaid MasterCard worldwide and especially online, wherever MasterCard is accepted.

When shopping online use it like how you use a credit card for online payments:

1.       Select MasterCard Credit Card as mode of payment
2.       Input the following card details:

  • 16 digit Card number
  • CVC2/ Card Verification Code 2 (last digit number at the back of the card)
  • Card Validity date
  • Then confirmed the transaction
3.       When shopping in store (local and worldwide)

  • Present your My ePrepaid card Mastercard to the cashier
  • Sign the sales slip.

I successfully use it by the following:

1.       Go Daddy (buying a domain for this blog www.theraketermama.com where I only get the discount code that is available only for credit card

2.       Membership fee for Bro. Bo’s Truly Rich Club.

And I assume more future expenses but not worrying my monthly payment for this credit card.

    1. yes you can verify your paypal using this but if you plan to withdraw or transfer your money in my eprepaid it is not allowed, you can only put money but cannot withdraw the money but you can use this card to shop

    2. wow if you use this to verify the paypal account meaning the card is linked to it .. why cant the transfer allowed?

    3. I mean the use of card is for credit card only and not as an atm or savings account

For example if you use this card and link in your paypal, then you withdraw from paypal to this card you can only use it as a mastercard credit card swiping or buying online only but cannot withdraw cash from this card

    4. Anyone tried to use this card with those items with monthly payments like electronics? I mean, for example, a TV with a 0% interest promotion when using a credit card and paying it for 12 months. Is it possible to use this card? How? Do we need to reload the card before the billing cycle?

  6. Hello, I have a question. I just got my eprepaid card today, and at the same day deposited some money in it. I tried linking it to Paypal but it will not work. Why is this so? Thank you for your time...

    1. Depositing money via bank takes 24 hours before the money gets posted to your ePrepaid while fund transfer done online is real time. so best to apply it on your Paypal the following day if deposit is via bank :)

  14. You said that I can transfer my Paypal Funds to BPI eprepaid Master Card provided that I cannot withdraw it, right? So it's like one way of reloading my master card so I can use it the way it is supposed to be used ( a credit card which I can only use when I have sufficient funds). Will Paypal or BPI charge me an amount if I do the transferring of funds? Thanks!

  24. Wat d use of eprepaid mastercard if we cant use it like credit card?

    1. My e-prepaid FUNCTIONS LIKE A CREDIT CARD. When you make online purchases, they ask you for the credit card number and security number. My eprepaid has those, as well. The only difference is, unlike credit cards, you won't be billed monthly when you use my eprepaid because it is PRE-LOADED (hence, 'prepaid). For your transaction to succeed, you must make sure that you have loaded your card

      Delete
    2. ^ Then the amount of your purchased product will be deducted from the load you deposited in your my eprepaid card.

  25. well online store accepts only credit card, eprepaid can be a substitute for credit card without the hassle of monthly payment, of course you need to fund it first

  28. Hi I want to ask if I can link my eprepaid mastercard to my savings account so that I will not be busy loading the card every time. Since my payroll savings account is always kept with money I want to use eprepaid mastercard to be charged directly to the savings account. Because I don't wan't to load a big amount to the card and unable to withdraw in case that I fail the online transaction or I give up to shop online. I have doubt if I can do it as I stated because I understand we can't withdraw money once it is loaded.

  31. Yes, you can as long as they accept mastercard. There's no maintaining balance here yet it should be in dormant state to avoid some penalties and worst is automatic closure of card.
