Begin Young

It has been said that children are like sponges. They soak up everything around them. It’s true. Children learn things at a phenomenal rate when they are little. The more they can learn at a young age, the better. Whatever is learned at a younger age, the easier a child learns it too. This means that learning languages, math, reading and other concepts can be learned at an accelerated rate while a child is still young. It becomes more and more difficult to learn a second language and other things as a person gets older. In fact, if a person does not catch onto other languages fairly easy, it can be near impossible for some people to acquire a second language.

An Overview of OHS Law in Australia

law-australia

In Australia, employers are required to provide a safe workplace for their employees, and the specific requirements that employers must meet are outlined under the OHS Law. This law, which may also be termed the Work and Health Safety Act, should be known by both employers and employees. By understanding it more fully, workers can take action if violations are present, and employers can take steps to ensure that they are providing a safe workplace for employees that meets legal standards established under the OSH law

The Intent of the Law

First, employers and employees should understand what the specific intent of the law is. One important intent of the law is to define what common risks to employees' safety are and to decrease these risks through precautionary measures. Furthermore, it provides a uniform minimum requirement that all employers must meet to ensure the safety of their workers while on the job. The law features specific, itemized rules to accomplish these goals.

Workspace Ideas to Keep your Kids Productive

loft-bed-workplace

Trying to get your children to focus can be challenging. By supplying them with a productive study area you can help make winning this war a little easier. It's all about avoid distractions and getting in the zone. The following article lists some great workspace ideas to motivate your children and keep them productive.

Separate area

We all know that you should keep your personal life and work life separate. The same ideology applies for your work area, whether it's for an adult or a child. You want to keep distractions to a minimal amount, zero distractions would be perfect but then you would find yourself in a plain white room with no objects. This doesn't mean your child's space can't be fun but it means you should avoid mixing it with their play area.

Support

No, I'm not referring to emotional support from those around you. I'm referring to physical back support. If this is an area you want your child to sit in then you need to provide them with the right materials. A great seat will provide them with support and stop them from hunching over.

Lighting

The right lighting is absolutely crucial. Rather than fiddling with the ceiling light, invest in a good desk light. You don't have to get something too expensive. There are a great variety of choices out there. You can choose something plain or go with a theme. A lamp in the shape of your child's favourite animal can be functional and entertaining.

Simplify

Don't go overboard. All you need to do to provide your child with a productive work is supply them with a quiet area. This is referring to noise and visual noise too. If you find that your plans are getting back too elaborate go back to basics. The space just needs to be organised.

Inspiration

Just because the area needs to have no distractions does not mean there should be no inspiration. This is what is going to motivate your child to strive for their very best. In the end it's about feeling comfortable in your space. No one feels comfortable in a sterile work environment. So don't be afraid to ask your child about what they would like, what they are inspired by. It's about sustaining their motivation and energy. It could be anything; plants, decor, photographs, quotes and posters.

Just remember to keep it simple and the area will be fantastic. If you have something like a bunk bed from Loft Beds Australia, just slip a desk underneath. It's all about working with what you have. Sit down and discuss with your child. It's there study place after all.

Birthday Gift and Wishes

birthday-gift
Hi all, if you notice I haven’t updated much because we moved in to a new place. Things are so hassle that I need to process my ISP provider to moved and installed my canopy. But now that everything is settled may you spare some time to visit my blogs regularly.

Meanwhile I was invited to attend a children birthday party tomorrow the kis is turning 9 years old, though my gift is already prepared I still don’t know what speech should I gave when it is my time to give my present and my wishes.

But below is my composition tomorrow but if you have any suggestion it’ll be much more appreciated:

First of all I would like to greet the celebrant a happy happy birthday.

My gift is not much because I know your mom and dad can provide you with everything you want like toys, gadget, money, food (they are obviously rich). But I hope you can learn from my gift (a book for financial designed for children) because it will teach you to understand why your mom and dad sometimes says no to one of your request (like gadget) even though deep inside you know that they had extra money for your request.

Wishing you to grow more with confidence, knowledgeable and calm, remember do not get tantrums when mom and dad denied your request. Happy Birthday once again.

What do you think with my wishes, is it good or not?

Invest with Your Kid’s Education

kumon-invest-education

I know many parents like me always wanted or finding ways to give a quality education for their children. As for me I enrolled my child to a private school whom I thought the quality of education is very high also with the price. Though this is not always true because sometimes we can get quality education in public school too, but I didn’t risk it because of my past experience like most of the time we spent more time cleaning or gardening plus I hardly get good and quality books back then.

My Son's Interest on Blogging and Earning

with medal, Palayan City, Convention Hall
Finally my son finished another level in studying and he gave me a reward that can make any parents be proud of. He is one of the top 10 honorable mention in his class where there are almost 40 pupils competing, glad that he was able to make it while some of his classmate have undergone tutor after class. I know that he is smart kid but playing can separate him from studying more. He also talks as if I am talking to a grown up man because he already know how hard we earn money for a living. He never insisted also to buy an specific toy if the price was really high, for him a toy that was beyond Php 100 (almost $3) was a bit pricey and can slashed the savings from our money.
