We choose the bank of BDO with product of Junior Savers because of its easy access at malls that opens even in weekend. For convenience sake, so that my son won’t have to absent in school just to deposit his savings to see and learn how to do it himself at the bank. Testing V3 Power Saver of Handyman (Updated)

V3-power-saver-max
V3 power saver from Handyman

In search for the answer or maybe a desperate move to lower our electric bill at home, I decided to stash my budget to buy this extreme power saver V3 of Handyman that promise to lower my bill up to 35% of its total amount. Yes I know, you will probably one of many that doesn’t believe in this thing because many use this kind as a gimmick to scam others or you will probably said to me in plain English that I am just stupid to believe that it actually works.

The reason that encourage me to buy this thing is because I have read it from Yugatech and Azrael's blog and it kinda effective in their home, though in numerous forum they had a divided opinion about it: one said yes it is effective  and the other said it's just a bogus so don't buy it. When I came to Handyman store there was a customer already there inquiring if he could get another one for their home, the salesperson at Handyman declined it because their bill was already cut down explaining there's no more room to lower the bill and it will just a waste for that client. The client even make a conversation with me and assured 100% it will lower my bill too, so I bought it.

emergency-fund-coin-jar

Before I attempt to invest in the stock market I have been reading a lot about it and I always encountered the two words which is “Emergency Fund”.

According to invetopedia.com this is what Emergency Fund means:
An account that is used to set aside funds to be used in an emergency, such as the loss of a job, an illness or a major expense. The purpose of the fund is to improve financial security by creating a safety net of funds that can be used to meet emergency expenses as well as reduce the need to use high interest debt, such as credit cards, as a last resort.

Many financial gurus advices us to have an emergency fund whatever status we have, whether we still have a job, sideline, allowances and remittance or a business that can provide us for what we need.

When it comes to trying to pad your bank account from the comfort of home, a little creativity can help you go a long way. Here are five ideas from how to transform your home into a moneymaking opportunity.

Try your hand at writing. Freelance writing can be a lucrative side job for those who know how to navigate the market. This is a part-time job better left to those who are willing to invest a little time in building contacts and a strong base of readers (especially if you’re considering blogging). Applying UITF in BPI

savings-uitf

Yesterday I submit all my papers and forms that I downloaded from my online banking of BPI to apply for UITF. Maybe UITF sounds astronomies to many and for the benefit of those who never knew UITF it means Unit Investment Trust Funds.

What is UITF?
These are investment scheme offered by the banks wherein money from different investors are pooled or collect together into one fund to achieve success in investment. Usually investors in UITF are those who don’t have any time to learn more or no idea in other forms of investment like stock market and mutual funds. It is usually called automatic vehicle where money of investors is handle or manage by financial expertise manager in UITF. The earnings from UITF ranges from 8% to 16% per year which is better from time deposits or special deposit accounts in the bank, hence of course since this is investment has it also own risk, so caveat brothers and sisters.
