An Excerpt from the Bible that Posted also in "Ang Pera na Hindi Bitin" Book

I really love this book because it has a topic of both money and some teachings in the bible. I guess that most people will read and be interested to read about are money making ideas than the bible, and I am guilty as hell.

Ang Pera na Hindi Bitin

The Author of the book manage to induce some proverbs in the bible but it is also connected to his main topic about money. One of my favorite is this:

O God, I beg two favors from you before I die.
First, help me never to tell a lie.
Second, give me neither poverty nor riches!
Give me just enough to satisfy my needs.
For if I grow rich, I may deny You and say,
"Who is the Lord?"
And if I am too poor, I may steal and thus
insult God's holy name.

PROVERBS 30:7 - 9 (NLT)

I thank this Author because I can't remember when was the last time I read a bible. At least in his books you may encounters some doctrines and you may also realize that there is nothing wrong on how we care for what we have; and we should do follow, cause these have been also written in the bible.

  8. I suddenly felt guilty when I read this post because I also don't read the bible. :(( I think I should also get these kinds of books so even if I don't read the bible, I can at least learn different kinds of verses that can be found in the bible.
