Being a business owner of Internet Café one need to learn and explore how to maintain the business. Of course sometimes we also had a limited source to funds the needs in the business, so we rely what is readily available over the internet.
The truth is when I enter this business I am a really so newbie in everything like installing software or a simple uploading and scanning of anti-virus. But as I go along with the day by day encountered in every possible problem on the shop I force myself to learn and explore, even if it means I am risking that I might get things worsened than fixing it.
One of the major problem I encountered is the lack of software for my units to keep them running. And luckily I did learn how to provide for it over the net. One of the software that I used is Ares a P2P filesharing or peer to peer that allows me to download any file from it. The community in Ares is beginning to rise in numbers of members, sharing, uploading and downloading anything under the sun.
And it is a no rocket science to learn how to download from it as I easily learn it from the beginning that I use it to download my files that I needed, since I am a noob then in computer. Go to the Ares free downloadpage to get the latest version, and make use out of it.
Nice one. Negosyante ka talaga. pero parang andame na net cafe now. hehehe

ReplyDeleteAbout managing an internet cafe...
ReplyDelete1. Make sure all your users have personal privacy - no user should see the monitor of other users
2. Netcafe monitoring software - because it's your responsability to make sure underage users won't access stuff that it's illegal for them and also keep track of your income
3. good ambiance - temperature, music, colors, fresh air - air conditioning - and generally, "feelgood" athmosphere in the cafe
Last, but not least, a firm hand to keep bullies and noisy folks out, and determination to keep it running even when noone enters for days or weeks.
Take this from a guy who mounted and built around 20 internet cafes in Romania :)
wow thanks Tezuka
