4 Year Old Force to Run in the Snow

As I was about to eat my dinner in between of watching news on TV5, it has been reported an outburst anger of netizen over the Chinese parents who force their four year old son to run without  clothes on the snow. Although I cannot fully understand the video, I feel so pity with the child, based on the video the child is really feel cold and about to turn back but had no choice because the parents seems like he wants to continue running on the freezing snow. They also ask the child to do a push-up and the kid starts to really cry.

Base on the reports the parent doesn't care of what others may say to them, it is their child and they do this to strengthen his resistance. But when my son watch it he also feel pity for the child because he can't even bare to take a bath early in the morning without a hot water before going to school, I also wonder how's the state of that child after the incident. I just wish that he didn't catch some cold or any illness after he run on that cold snow.

Awful Chinese parent, chil run snow, bad parent

  4. I do not understand how that is going to help the child. What would the child become after all these? I guess meadowly is right about abuse. While I think these days parents are too soft, but this is too much.

  9. Poor kid. Some Chinese parents push their children way too much! I remember watching a documentary about a Chinese aerobatics school, the parents let the trainers push their kids beyond their limits. Tsk.

  11. China again???? What's happening in that country that the worst and most popular child abuse videos are coming from this nation?

  12. Dang! That's child abuse already.

  13. This only proves one thing: Parents don't always know what's best.

  14. I can't understand the possible rationale behind this, what kind of parents would do this to their kid? I am still single but I am very protective with my nephews and nieces.. This is child abuse!

  15. The child's parent is already abusing him. This is not good. The child will develop a character of antagonism.

  19. I know most Chinese parents are super strict, but this is just wrong! >.< What are they trying to accomplish? Di naman lalakas ang resistance ng bata by letting him stay out in the cold. Baka maging sakitin pa nga at matraumatized pa sa snow.. >.<

  20. There are people who crave for attention at the expense of others, well in this case their own son. terrible indeed and for one I know how silly it is to play in snow with w inappropriate clothing, needless to say naked. How crazy they must have been.

  23. Di ko maintindihan ang parenting style nung tatay niya, parang nasa ROTC training yung bata. The other day eh may isa pang Chinese dad na pinakain ng t** yung anak niya. Seriously? Dapat yata may permit na bago maging magulang.

  24. Something should be done about these things. Their love for their child and their want to make them strong is obscuring their mind. Tsk tsk.
